Barbadians living abroad can now win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the island as part of the “Barbados Calling—We Gatherin’ 2025” promotion. Launched by the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) in April this year, the initiative supports the island-wide We Gatherin’ celebration, a year-long tribute to Barbadian heritage, culture, and community.
The promotion is open exclusively to eligible Barbadian nationals, citizens, and descendants residing in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Canada, the Continental United States, Caribbean islands, and Latin America.
BTMI Chief Executive Officer, Ms Andrea Franklin, expressed gratitude to sponsors and invited Bajans overseas to take part. “This campaign is a chance for Barbadians abroad to reconnect with their roots and enjoy our culture in an exciting new way,” she said. “We are delighted to work with our tourism partners to make this experience possible and look forward to welcoming our winners home.”
Three prize draws will be held, with six winners selected in each. A total of 18 winners will each receive two airline tickets to Barbados, seven nights’ hotel accommodation, complimentary dining showcasing Barbadian cuisine, and vouchers to explore the island’s top attractions.
Entries must be submitted through wegatherinbim.com/promo. Eligible participants must be able to travel between Saturday 15 November and Monday 15 December 2025. The upcoming draw dates are Friday 8 August and Friday 3 October 2025, with corresponding entry deadlines of Thursday 31 July and Tuesday 30 September.
Proof of Barbadian nationality or descent is required. Persons residing in Barbados are not eligible to enter.
