Calling all Barbadians and friends of Barbados to celebrate the 599th Anniversary of independence and four years as a Republic. A Service of Thanksgiving Celebrating Barbados’
St Laurence Catford 37 Bromley Road, LondonDear Barbadians, Friends and Supporters of Barbados, I am writing to invite you to our annual Independence Thanksgiving Church Service. This year we are celebrating the 59th Anniversary of Independence and 4th Anniversary as a Republic. The theme is ‘We Gathering In Fellowship’ and pays homage to the We Gathering initiative by Prime Minister Mia Mottley, in which she encouraged Barbadians in the diaspora to reconnect with their culture and heritage. Our service aims to reflect these sentiments as we come together in peace, love and unity to celebrate another milestone in the proud history of our country, beautiful Barbados.
